They simply want to bring their baby, Sophie Mai Carr-Knox, home to Australia. However, complex legal and administrative barriers have prevented the family from returning.

During this time they have faced significant emotional, financial and psychological strain while caring for a newborn overseas and navigating an overwhelmed legal system.

We are asking the Australian Government to provide meaningful support to help bring this family home. This includes recognising Sophie’s identity by issuing Australian citizenship and a passport in her correct legal name, Sophie Mai Carr-Knox, and assisting the family to obtain the documentation needed to safely return to Australia.

No Australian family should be left stranded overseas with their baby.

By sending a message to the Australian Government, you can help call for compassion, support and urgent action to bring this Australian family home.
